TONGUE - A SHARP RAZOR

(Psa 52:2) Your tongue devises evil; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully

Bible says, Life and Death are in the power of your tongue. The question is 'What are you using it for?" Turn back to see your life's journey and the people you came across, got acquainted, relatives, colleagues, neighbors, fellow travellers, co-believers etc..

What sort of a relationship are you maintaining with them? Were there any instances of broken or sour relationships? Were there any instances of hurt feelings and turmoils? Were there times of misunderstandings and tears because of ill spoken, harsh, cursing, hurting words? Was gossip present in your past as well as present life?

If so, you are in the wrong side of Christian living. As children of God, we are called to be messengers of peace and ambassadors of God. Our God is a God of peace. We are called to build lives in Christ, establish and maintain peace within the families, society and community at large.

If your words are sharp, harsh and hurting, then there is evil in your life. God doesn't appreciate or approve it. Change your words. Mend your ways. Be filled with the peace and love of God. Inflict others with arrows of peace and Joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.  

WALLS OF JERUSALEM

(Psa 51:18) Favor Zion with Your goodness. Rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is the holy place where the temple of God was situated. It was always the target of the enemies of God. When the walls were destroyed or damaged, the threat was higher and lot of intruders came inside.

Same way, in our spiritual life also, walls are essential for protection. Do you have the protective walls of God's word around you?  Are you protected from the worldly oppressions? If not, ask God to rebuild your walls. Walls of Faith rooted in the word of God. Only then your inner man will be strong and courageous and  will also remain protected from the forces of darkness.

Else, you will easily stumble and will lose your ground to the devil. Your mind can be captured by satan. If you need to prevent this, then act now. Strengthen your walls. Bring in self discipline, have your regular quiet time with the Lord and strengthen your faith in HIM.

BROKEN SPIRIT

(Psa 51:17) The sacrifice pleasing to God is a broken spirit. O God,You do not despise a broken and sorrowful heart.

Are you broken inside your heart but smiling outside? Are you feeling secluded and left all alone to cry for yourself? Are you the person who cries the whole night bitterly with out others knowledge? Are you wondering over the purpose of your life?

 

Do not worry. People may not know your sorrows. This world may not understand your feeling of loneliness. But God knows your heart. He is watching over you. He will not despise you. He values and acknowledges your sorrows. You are precious to Him. He has stored every drop of your tears and surely He will do justice and answer your cry for help.

He is your rock and refuge and He will turn your sorrows into joy.

CLEAN HEART & RIGHT SPIRIT

(Psa 51:10) Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Clean heart and right spirit are essential to maintain fellowship with God. Man looks at the face, but God looks into the heart. Nothing can be hidden from HIM. He is all powerful and He knows everything. He knows the intention and the purpose.

Only God can clean our iniquities and can set right our crooked spirit. Ask Him to renew your spirit, so that the connectivity between Him and You is restored and stabilized.

GUILT FEELINGS

(Psa 51:2) Wash me thoroughly from my guilt, and cleanse me from my sin.

Are you still reeling under guilt feelings? Devil is a cunning liar. He may remind you of your old sinful habits and the past sinful life? He may constantly prick your conscience with his lies and make you feel bad?

 

Guilt feelings will erode the confidence and will take away the Joy of the Lord.  Come to JESUS and get washed fully. Be clean and be confident that Jesus has washed away all your past sins. Be bold and be happy. You shall be a blessing.

STAIN OF YOUR SINS

(Psa 51:1) Have mercy on me, O God, because of Your unfailing love. Because of Your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.

Many of us are still living in the shadow of our old sinful habits and the effect of our past sins.

Are you struggling with the stain of your past sins? Are you going through the path of depressed feelings and discouragements due to the mark in the society which is still remembering your past? Are you suffering in your health because of your past sinful habits? Are you feeling bad about yourself, by seeing those stains?

Don't worry. You have a way out. Our God is a God of compassion? A God of unfailing Love. Come to Him boldly. Ask Him to remove your stains. The blood of JESUS can wash you thoroughly and can set you free. He can blot out the stain of your sins.

If the SON of MAN sets you free, You shall be free indeed.

HONORABLE SACRIFICE

(Psa 50:23) But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors Me.If you keep to My path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.

Be grateful to God always. Honor Him by your sacrifice of thanksgiving. He is not interested in our money or wealth. He is expecting a grateful heart all the time which follow His ways. When you walk in His path, He will lead you safely to eternal salvation. You will never be condemned. 

THANK OFFERINGS

(Psa 50:14) Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High and call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you will honor Me.

God is steadfast in His love and He is taking care of us without fail. For this, He expects us to be grateful to Him always. Instead of focussing on unanswered prayers, unfulfilled ambitions and murmuring, learn to focus on the blessings you enjoy everyday.

When you start focussing unto the blessings, your heart will start to praise Him and let it become your lifestyle. If you had made any vows to Him, be careful to fulfill them. That is thanksgiving in action. When you live a life like this, you will always stay connected to Him and He is all the more happy about your fellowship with Him. Even when you face troubled situations or in danger, He is right beside you to rescue you..

BE YE THANKFUL ALWAYS!

RICHES or UNDERSTANDING??

(Psa 49:20) A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts that perish.

Which one is more important? It is true that we all need money for our survival in this world. But when the riches exceed our requirement, our dependency and confidence shifts from God to the riches, thats where the problem starts. Too much of anything even if it is honey is not good for healthy life.

Life with riches without understanding is like a garland in the hands of a beast. Look up to God. Depend on Him alone. Don't set your eyes on riches and glory. They will perish & fade away. Instead, spend your time to increase your understanding about Life and the creator of your Life.

NEVER BE UPROOTED

(Amos 9:15) "I will firmly plant them there in their own land.They will never again be uprooted from the land I have given them," says the LORD your God.

Are you struggling in life not sure about your future? Are you facing uncertain situations in your family, job or career? Are you confused about too many things around not knowing which way to go?

Cheer up. God has greater plans for you. He will surely plant you firmly in the place of His choice and you shall be a tree planted by the riverside. He will make you grow strong and stable. Winds and storms may come. But, you will not be uprooted again. He will be your shield and strength.
