When your enemy falls....

Proverbs 24:17
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles.

🍁 Friend or foe, there is an important lesson we all must learn: never find happiness in others pain.
🍁 Don't say 'he wanted that...and more'...'he deserves that'
🍁 Yes, perhaps he troubled u or someone dear to u....but it is not the nature of Christ to rejoice in his fall
🍁 How great a character it is....to hold and lift him when he falls
🍁 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the LORD will reward you.
🍁 Anyone can repay good for good. But are we not called to repay good for evil?
🍁 Allow the Holy Spirit to change ur perspective today
🍁 To have lived like Christ is a life worth living - a life accomplishing the purpose of the Creator

Handling our parents

Proverbs 20:20
If a man curses his father or mother, his lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.

📀 As we grow up, we take several steps ahead of our parents - in terms of education, contacts, talents, interpersonal skills or even dressing sense!
📀 We come to a conclusion that our parents are 'old-fashioned' and their words have no practical significance in the modern world
📀 We say their appearance is not good, they don't know how to speak and behave well in a crowd, ....and the lost goes on.... we even don't like to walk with them when we are with our acquaintances!
📀 Our sense of contempt often makes us end up in harsh quarrels and bitter incidents with our parents
📀 Today God's word reminds us to be careful with our behaviour and words with our parents
📀 Perhaps we are liked and respected by all ....but our real character is what we are inside the four walls of our house!
📀 You see, in the end, would not ur children treat u in the same way u treat ur parents....how abusive we become sometimes...
📀 Today take time to analyse ur life. Ask God for the grace to understand and accept ur parents with love

Tongue

Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

📛 The tongue is a very powerful organ
📛 Words and constant confessions often become true.........not coz of 'fate' or a 'black tongue'!
📛 But the Bible says... that's the power of the tongue!
📛 Today the Word of God reminds us that we must be very careful in using our words
📛 Don't keep 'hoping' for something bad to happen. Don't keep 'imagining' and saying something bad might happen. Don't build free castles for the devil to dwell
📛 Believe that God is in control and confess positive. Be a fort of praise
📛 When you have fears or anxiety, confess the Word of God. You can see the strongholds of satan crashing down
📛 Speak positive into your life. Speak life into others. God has given you authority.... Use your tongue as a channel of God's blessing

Name of the Lord

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

🗼 God is our strong support and our very present help in times of trouble
🗼 Today God's word reminds us to dwell in the shelter of the Most High
🗼 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
🗼 When troubles come, let us NOT panic or search for evil/ungodly ways to solve it
🗼 If only we humble ourselves before God and ask for His help, will He not help us?
🗼 Remember that no mortal man is the solution. So let us not run to people when we are troubled. RUN TO JESUS
🗼 God never forsakes anyone who trusts in Him. TRUST IN JESUS

Doing His will matters the most..

MAT 7:21 NLT

“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
